Hi, I’m Mandy.

This is my personal blog, where I cover enriching experiences and meaningful connections.

This site is not monetized. I love to share unsponsored products and businesses, just because.

I have a nutty-level of pride for my home state of New Mexico! My stories involve travel, sitting still, and connecting with wonderful people.

If you would like to work together, please connect with me on LinkedIn. Follow me on FacebookInstagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.

The very best way to keep in touch (please do!) is to subscribe to the blog, and you’ll get an email each time I post.

Thank you for reading!

We mean well. We DO well. Integrity means defining our values, honing our goals, and reflecting those in our work and lives.

Where’s Mandy From?

My home state is New Mexico–by choice. My heart-home is fragrant with piñon, juniper, and mesquite. It’s one of many reasons we call New Mexico the “Land of Enchantment.”

I have lived in Turkey twice, and Germany, as well as Hawai’i, California, Virginia, and North Carolina. I was born in Texas and graduated high school in Arkansas.

All that moving around, purging closets, and shifting relationships shaped me. I focus on the big picture. I seek out enriching experiences and meaningful connections.

What drives Mandy?

I am goal-oriented, and I work with companies whose values align with mine. Together, we make the world a better place.

Why not ask questions, connect with experts, and figure things out? I love to build connections through meaningful work.

I seek people who challenge me, people I can learn from. The projects I accept are purposeful and results-driven.

On my blog I share highlights from inspiring people and places, explore questions and discoveries, and reflect on what makes life and work satisfying.

Desert Lovin’: One of my favorite-ever experiences, a Bedouin-camp stay in the Wadi Rum, Jordan.

Mandy’s Background:

I bring clarity and develop processes and communications strategies in a corporate setting, especially as companies begin, expand, and adapt to new markets. I write transformative copy for dynamic companies. I lead teams towards focused goals with intention and integrity.

As a communications strategist, writer, editor, photographer, and consultant for a range of companies and industries, I’ve learned the power of collaboration with great people. I’ve also worked as a school liaison, a family photographer, and an English teacher. My master’s degree is in English.

I actively seek to work with inspiring people who I learn from and on worthy projects that make the world a better place, which is one reason I contribute to the team at MNDFL LDR.
